These workshops are an excellent way to get a taste of what the Iowa Youth Chorus is all about!

Summer Camps - Iowa Youth Chorus sponsors weeklong summer camps during June and July.  Each camp centers on a different musical theme and culminates with an informal concert of presentation on the final day of camp.  Our camps are open to all interested area youth as well as our own choristers.

Singing in Schools
Offers Central Iowa schools an opportunity to bring in Iowa Youth Chorus choirs for performances, workshops or in-services. Our choirs may perform for music classes, general music classes or school assemblies. A wide variety of repertoire is presented and audience participation is encouraged.

School Workshops - The Iowa Youth Chorus is pleased to collaborate with public and private schools in Central Iowa. Through our school workshops, IYC conducting staff brings innovative ideas, topics and techniques to our colleagues and their students.  Our choirs are also available to give concerts and master classes in local schools through our "Singing in Schools" program.

Home School Classes - The Iowa Youth Chorus has offered classes in theory, music history and singing skills for students age 6 through 12. Please watch our website for upcoming home school sessions.
