View our 2008 Summer camp offerings
We are offering a wide array of summer camps for children from newborn to 11 years of age.
Our camps are offered at St. Mark Lutheran Church in West Des Moines. Another Musical Madness
program will held for children 8 - 11 at the Temple for the Performing Arts in donwtown
Des Moines.
Save these dates!
May 3rd through the 5th - Chorale's tour to Milwaukee for an exchange
with the Milwaukee Children's Chorus. Fun at a waterpark is planned.
June 23 through the 27th - The Youth Chorale heads to San Francisco. Performances
are scheduled for Grace and St. Mary's Cathedrals, with a workshop planned at Stanford
University. And of course some sightseeing and fun!
Congratulations to our members:
Joe Biegger, Cecilia Shutt and Laura Swartz were selected this year from the IYC for the prestigious Opus Honor Choir.

Nicholas Baker and Bryce Shutt were selected to participate in the North Central Region
of the American Choral Directors Honor Choir held in Fargo in March.
Kristen Stanton has been busy with honors choirs for the 5th and 6th grades in the North
Central District, the 7th and 8th grades in the South Central and 5th and 6th grades in the
Central DIstrict.
